Lennox Head is a small suburb with two very different building propositions. Up at Epiq the lots are new, regular and covenant-controlled, with ocean views from the higher terraces and a design panel that has opinions about facades. Down in the old streets the blocks are established, the houses are ageing, and the coastal hazard line is a live consideration.
On both, the sea-spray specification is not negotiable. Lennox sits fully exposed to the easterly, so we build to a C2 corrosion environment as standard: marine-grade fixings, stainless hardware, powder-coated aluminium joinery and sealed eaves.
Add the NSW paperwork — BASIX, HBCF insurance, and a bushfire assessment on the western edges — and this is a suburb where the pre-construction work genuinely earns its keep.
